The special exhibition “EURO Legends Stuttgart” at StadtPalais – Museum für Stuttgart is a collaboration between the museum and Host City Stuttgart. Spanning 135 square metres, the digitally and physically interactive exhibition invites visitors to dribble through a course and test their shooting technique on a goal wall. Seven larger-than-life displays, each featuring a famous footballer, offer insights into legendary matches and unforgettable scenes from European football that reflect the history of Europe beyond the sport itself. The exhibition texts are written in both German and English to appeal to the international Euro 2020 audience.
VISUELL is developing the design, creating the master layout and implementing all the exhibition graphics. The exhibition’s colour palette is based on the flags of the participating countries and the European flag. Inspired by a classic football, we are using a dynamic, pentagonal design element as a visual anchor point. For the exhibition texts, we have chosen a sans-serif font, which we combine with a modern, eye-catching typeface. This creates even more dynamism and movement. Accessibility is ensured by a clearly legible font size and appropriate colour contrasts.
