VISUELL designed and produced the visualisation of the vision and mission for the Civil Engineering Office and its municipal drainage department Stuttgart (SES). It is important to us that the large-format wall graphics in the entrance and waiting area clearly demonstrate what the institution stands for: commitment, drive and responsibility for the city.
Our design translates abstract concepts into an accessible visual language and gives them a spatial presence. The graphic design, featuring lines and icons, extends across the wall surfaces of the corridor and public areas. It symbolises key themes of daily work such as connection, movement and infrastructure. We use a deep dark blue that forms a strong contrast to the white wall and achieves excellent legibility and visual impact from a distance. To complement the expressive, sans-serif typeface, we use icons from the new corporate design of the State of Baden-Württemberg, which we expand with additional symbols in the same style. Regional motifs such as the television tower or the pretzel appeal to viewers on an emotional level. Typography and icons combine to form a multi-layered overall image that makes an impact both in passing and upon closer inspection.
VISUELL supports the project from the initial concept through to final implementation. The wall graphics are produced as high-quality vinyl prints. This creates a powerful visual statement in the public space.
