filming

Action, clapperboard, set, and please – these are words we at VISUELL are unlikely to forget any time soon. Many of us were involved in the exciting filming of STAHL CraneSystems’ trainee recruitment film, supporting the camera team led by Lukas Nicolaus. We set off for the filming locations early in the morning. The first day of filming in particular was a bit of a challenge. In the middle of the city, the first set was built, with over 20 extras and a lot of wind, which literally caused a stir, not to mention a huge flour transporter that had to drive through the set at short notice. But thanks to months of organisation and planning, as well as good teamwork, even these small hurdles were overcome. The whole team quickly got into the swing of things and was always well fed thanks to the fresh and delicious daily buffet. We prepared a total of six locations for filming during these days and spared no effort to make them appear as authentic as possible. An Airbnb flat was completely transformed within a few hours and, of course, returned to its original state at the end. Fabric sofas were carried out, posters and pictures were hung up, furniture was moved around and kitchens were spruced up. Yes – there was a lot of hustle and bustle until the perfect set was ready. Another special highlight was filming at the STAHL CraneSystems factory itself. A suitable location was organised for us in the middle of ongoing operations. Thanks in particular to the many dedicated STAHL CraneSystems employees who acted as extras, we were able to stage a great scene. After filming, we always enjoyed delicious food at our inn in Braunsbach. But anyone who thinks the day is over after filming is mistaken. Every evening, the scenes and shots for the next day were discussed again. Because if we have learned one thing, it is that good time management is definitely an advantage. Overall, we can look back on three incredibly exciting but admittedly also exhausting days, but it was worth the effort. Now the footage is being reviewed and diligently edited, because the commercial is scheduled to run in the Künzelsau cinema in June – we can’t wait!
In the end, all that remains for us to say is thank you to everyone who supported the VISUELL team during this shoot.
