For the special exhibition “BiBi Pop – From Beatighome to HipHop Town. 60 Years of Music History in Bietigheim-Bissingen” at the Hornmoldhaus City Museum, VISUELL is developing an audio station. The exhibition is dedicated to the city’s rich musical history.
This interactive experience allows visitors to immerse themselves in the musical styles and stories of Bietigheim-Bissingen’s most famous artists. The idea arose as part of the redesign of the permanent exhibition at the Hornmoldhaus City Museum and has been prioritised due to its thematic relevance.
In close collaboration with the museum curators, artists are selected to showcase the musical diversity of Bietigheim-Bissingen. Names such as RIN, Bausa, Shindy, PUR and Camouflage represent different musical genres and generations. The challenge of securing these successful musicians for interviews is overcome through our persistent project management. The elegant, dark stele offers access to the individual artist portraits via five labelled buttons. The introduction features the musician’s best-known song, followed by a short interview focusing on their personal connection to Bietigheim-Bissingen. A question on the theme of home introduces the outro. Each sequence ends with the anthem to the hometown. The sixth button introduces further musicians and their music. Two single-ear headphones in pairing mode enable an uninterrupted listening experience whilst standing or sitting.
The concept, design and implementation of the media station are carried out by VISUELL, including test runs and on-site installation on site.

“Working with them was a very pleasant and professional experience.”
